Before You Begin

Welcome to Loan Factory! Before we jump into the next step (filling out your basic information), we want to make sure we are a perfect match.

Loan Factory is a fast-growing, tech-driven mortgage broker. To maintain our high standards and ensure your personal success, we require all our Loan Officers to meet the following foundational criteria. Please review these expectations carefully.

Licensing & NMLS Requirements

  • Active Status: you must hold a valid NMLS ID. The state(s) you wish us to sponsor must currently be Active or Approved-Inactive.
  • Expired Licenses: if your license for a specific state has expired, you must renew it through the NMLS before we can submit a sponsorship request.
  • Pending Sponsorship: if you have recently applied for a new state license and are simply waiting for a sponsoring employer to activate it, we can sponsor you.

Tech Literacy & Computer Proficiency

  • We are a Tech-First Company: Loan Factory prides itself on proprietary, cutting-edge technology. While we are always happy to guide you through our unique features and tools, we expect a baseline level of tech literacy.
  • The Expectation: you should be comfortable navigating modern software, basic computer tasks, and adapting to digital workflows independently to efficiently manage your pipeline.

Minimum Production Expectations

  • Baseline Requirement: to maintain active sponsorship, Loan Officers are expected to close at least 1 loan every 6 months.

Drive, Competitive Spirit, and Adaptability

  • Entrepreneurial Mindset: success here requires an active approach. You should be hungry to compete in the market, hunt for new clients, and build your own brand using our tools.
  • Continuous Learning: the mortgage industry and our technology evolve rapidly. Successful Loan Officers are proactive, open to feedback, and eager to master new guidelines and features.
